The Crown of Every Look
At Fashique Lux, a hat is never simply worn for warmth or shade — it is the finishing detail that transforms a good outfit into a considered one. The Hat Edit is a curated collection of headwear chosen for its exceptional construction, its distinctive character, and its ability to elevate any look from the moment it is placed. Whether you reach for a wide-brim sun hat on a coastal afternoon or a sculptural felt fedora for the city, every piece in this edit has been selected to be as deliberate as everything else you wear.
Wide-Brim & Sun Hats
The most luxurious relationship between fashion and function. Our wide-brim and sun hat collection spans finely woven raffia and straw styles, packable resort silhouettes, and structured cotton canvas designs — each with a brim proportion that is generous enough to be architectural and refined enough to be editorial. These are the hats that define a holiday wardrobe and photograph in every light.
Fedoras & Structured Hats
Authority, structure, and a silhouette that has defined style for over a century. Our fedora and structured hat collection includes wool-felt, velour, and woven styles in neutral, earth, and statement tones — each with a crown and brim that holds its shape through every season and every occasion. These are the hats you keep for years.
Bucket Hats & Casual Styles
Relaxed in structure, never in intention. Our bucket hat and casual hat collection brings together canvas, cotton twill, and textured fabric styles in silhouettes that balance effortlessness with edge. These are the hats that work with everything from a linen shirt and wide-leg trouser to a slip dress and minimal sandal — and that make each combination look more considered than it took to put together.
Berets & Fashion Headwear
For the woman who wears her point of view on her head. Our beret and fashion headwear collection spans classic wool berets, structured caps, and statement headpieces in fabrics and finishes chosen for their tactile quality and visual impact. These are the pieces that complete the look and make the look, often simultaneously.
The right hat doesn’t just finish an outfit. It authors it. Explore The Hat Edit — and find the piece that makes every look unmistakably yours.
Material & Care
- What materials are used in your hats?
- Our hats are crafted from a range of premium materials including natural straw, raffia, woven paper, wool felt, velour, cotton twill, canvas, and linen blends — each selected for its structural quality, texture, and suitability for the hat’s silhouette. Hardware, ribbon trims, and band detailing are finished to the same standard as the hat itself.
- How should I care for a straw or raffia hat?
- Spot clean only with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never submerge straw or raffia in water, as this can cause fibres to warp, swell, or lose their shape. Store upright or crown-down on a flat surface — never stacked or crushed — to maintain the brim’s structure.
- How should I care for a wool felt or structured hat?
- Use a soft-bristle hat brush to gently remove dust and lint, always brushing in the direction of the felt grain. If the hat becomes lightly damp, allow it to dry naturally on a hat stand or upturned in its own crown — never near a heat source. Spot treat marks with a barely damp cloth and blot gently; do not rub. Steam can refresh the shape of a wool felt hat when used with care.
- How do I store my hats to keep their shape?
- Store hats on a hat stand, crown-down on a clean flat surface, or in a hat box with tissue paper supporting the crown. Never hang hats on a peg or hook by the brim, as this will distort the shape permanently over time. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading, especially on natural straw and raffia styles.
- Can I reshape a hat that has lost its form?
- Many structured hats — particularly wool felt and woven styles — can be carefully reshaped using steam. Hold the hat over a kettle or clothes steamer briefly until the material becomes pliable, then gently mould it back to shape with your hands and allow to cool and set on a hat stand. For delicate or heavily embellished styles, professional millinery reshaping is recommended.
- Are your hats packable for travel?
- Select straw and raffia styles in our collection are designed to be rolled or folded for travel and will return to shape when unpacked. These styles are noted in their individual product descriptions. Structured felt and canvas hats are not recommended for packing and should be stored in a hat box or carried separately when travelling.
